Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme
Also known as money purchase, DC pensions allow you to build up a pot by contributing regularly. That pot is then used to provide you with an income in retirement.

Also known as final salary, DB pensions typically pay an amount in retirement that is based on how many years you have worked for the employer as well as your salary.
